technical workshop - equipment & facilities

The RANLO SINGAPORE Technical Workshop is a facility consisting of an indoor open plan area of approximately 530 square metres, a secure outdoor area of 420 square metres and a covered storage area of 100 square metres which also houses a new block of toilets and showers. The workshop, although not air conditioned, has suitable ventilation provided with ceiling fans fitted throughout and extraction fans to remove residual heat build up. The following equipment is available for use:

1. Lathe;
2. Milling Machine;
3. Pedestal Drilling Machine;
4. Power Hacksaw;
5. Three Ton Gantry Crane (A Frame);
6. Two, one ton Chain Blocks;
7. Pedestal Grinder;
8. 35 Ton Hydraulic Press;
9. High Pressure Water Cleaner (240V, 415V & Diesel Driven);
10. Marking out table;
11. Welding equipment;
12. Two forklift trucks (one light and one heavy)/one Cherry Picker (no safety harnesses held);
13. Grit Blasting Machine/Portable Pressure Cleaners;
14. Portable Generators (for wharf side power tool use);
15. Fitted LP Air Supply; and
16. Various Power & Pneumatic Hand Tools.
17. One 10 foot and one 20 foot refrigerated container (fridge/freezer).
